Defining Benedetta:

Benedetta is to your skin what eating seasonal organic and alive foods are to your health!

After more than 25 years of formulating and 20 in the development of Benedetta, my challenge is to find the wrod to accurately describe what sets Benedetta apart and what makes it so valuable.  Lately, I find myself calling Benedetta, "The Alternative Skin Care Company."

At a press meeting to announce my store in the San Francisco Ferry Building, I was asked to describe in one sentence who I am.  I said, "Benedetta is a Farm-Sourced, Food For Your Skin company.”  That became another tag line for Benedetta. Farm-Sourced, Organic & Biodynamic, Authentic, 100% Botanical; true, but what does that mean to you? 

 

In 16 years, it has been far more challenging to describe the authenticity of Benedetta, than it’s development.  Organics are something I hold near and dear to my heart as I have been walking and talking organics my entire adult life and even a little before.

I work with farmers, suppliers and distillers around the world to make sure all the preparations are fresh and viable for the intended user.  It’s a service and an honor to make these preparations for you.  Two years ago, I changed over from brown glass to Miron full spectrum violet glass. Why? Because its stunningly better, and you are worth it. I am dedicated to truly providing preparations and a system of use that will prevent, correct, and support your largest organ…your skin.

For me it was about the ability to invent something special and useful and offer it this gift to you. 

Since developing each preparation back in the early nineties, my intention and dedication was to provide 3 elements for your skin:

●      Correction

●      Rejuvenation

●      Protective

Having worked in a clinical setting with a keen understanding of the skins ability to absorb an rejuvenate, my task was always to see how the botanical or plant world would serve this purpose. 
 
Our world is really our rainforest, so to speak.  Imagine that everything we need to survive, in this case, our sking, is found in the plant world.

Understanding this relationship between the botanical and our bodies ability to absorb and use them is profound, yet simple.

Each botanical used in the Benedetta line is an active ingredient that has a relationship with another botanical, sometimes utilizing 30 plus per formula.  Keep in mind, these are all botanicals – NO filler chemicals.  Marring them together in a formula is my task, making sure they meet the requirements to feed our skin as it purifies and enlivens, without causing damage.

Benedetta is not about instant results, but nourishing and becoming better with use.  Benedetta is blessed with these botanicals because together they are better than any of their single parts.  Although I choose botanical names for most of my preparations, none of my formulas are only as good as that one botanical.  It is a synergistic combination, each with their own contributions that work to accomplish a bioavailable and renewable product. 

Take for instance the Rosemary & Geranium Crème Cleanser; this is the foundation to the Benedetta Skin Care regimen.  It's not enough to simply wash the upper layer of the skin, but nourish, rehydrate, correct, and renew. The fatty oils used are dedicated to transport the essential oils into the deeper levels to purify, and oxygenate the cells. All the ingredients from green clay to propolis to essential oils play a role in this amazing products ability to correct and renew the skin.  This formula took 3 years for me to complete and make it the product it is today.

After 16 years, those of us that have used the regimen have received the rewards of less damaged skin, greater hydration, less sunspots, and over-all more replenished and youthful skin.  For this reason alone, Benedetta is a success beyond my wildest imagination.

I am grateful from my deepest heart that I have been of service, and created product excellence, with a system of use that works.Defining Benedetta:

What makes your brand unique?

Benedetta has pioneered, farm-sourced skin care, a term I have coined to describe our seed to bottle concept. I was not trained in cosmetic chemistry nor did I solicit the help of chemists to create the line. With the study of botanical chemistry, nutrition, botany, anatomy, and aromatherapy, along with intuition, I create Benedetta Holistic Skin Care.

In addition, it has been my experience in the many years in business that the majority of successful skin care companies both small and corporate large, start from marketing FIRST, product development SECOND. Know any celebrities with a skin care line?!

What makes Benedetta's deodorant "The Best"?

Finally a completely natural deodorant that actually works! Benedetta's deodorant spray will safely and effectively keep you free of odor.
